  I am trying to understand why a church would tell a woman who has come to them sharing that she is in an abusive relationship, and has had her life threatened, that they will "keep her in prayer". No offer of help for safe lodging. No offer to help her get aid. She doesn't drive, she is terrified to go back to "his home", and has told Pastor Bill this, yet all he can offer is prayer?? Has he not heard the story of the prodigal son?? Does she have to be physically abused for him to take her pleas seriously?? Because she has been sexually, and emotionally abused. Seriously, what is it going to take to get her some help?

  1/10/21 This sermon really touched my soul today. It was just so moving to me and I am ready to TELL SATIN GET BEHIND ME, SOMEONE MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU IS WALKING WITH ME & I am so thankful---Thank You for this Church and MY GOD..AMEN
